00 — Overview

We built a privacy product. We mean it.

RAT Protocol and the Reactive Anonymous Network are built on the premise that users should not have to expose more than what is needed. That principle extends to how we operate this website.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you visit rat.cards, how we use it, and your rights as a visitor. We keep this short because we do not collect much.

If you are reading this to understand how the RAT Protocol network itself handles user data, see Section 07 — Protocol Privacy.

01 — What We Collect

Minimal by design.

When you visit rat.cards, we collect standard server log data through our hosting provider (Vercel). This includes:

We do not run advertising trackers. We do not install third-party analytics cookies. We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or any behavioral profiling tools.

If you submit the investor inquiry form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, firm name, and message. This is sent via Formspree to our studio email and stored only as long as needed to respond.

02 — How We Use It

Only to operate the site.

Server log data is used exclusively to:

Contact form data is used exclusively to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list. We do not sell, license, or share your contact information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, retargeting, or behavioral analysis of any kind.

03 — Cookies

We do not use cookies.

rat.cards does not set any first-party cookies. No session cookies. No persistent cookies. No tracking pixels.

Our hosting provider (Vercel) may set cookies for security and performance infrastructure. These are strictly necessary and do not track behavior across sites. You can review Vercel's data practices at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

The investor inquiry form uses Formspree for form submission. Formspree may set functional cookies required to process form submissions. Review Formspree's privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

04 — Third Parties

Who else sees your data.

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to operate this site. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service:

External links on this site — including Uniswap, Dexscreener, Basescan, X (Twitter), and Discord — are governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the data practices of external sites. Clicking any external link is at your own discretion.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Period.

05 — Data Retention

We keep it as short as possible.

Server logs are retained by our hosting provider per their standard retention schedule (typically 30–90 days) and then deleted.

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as the inquiry is active. Once resolved, they are deleted from our inbox within 90 days. We do not maintain a CRM or contact database.

You can request deletion of your submitted inquiry data at any time by emailing hello@0123456789.studio. We will confirm deletion within 14 business days.

06 — Your Rights

What you can ask for.

Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR in the EU and UK, CCPA in California, and similar frameworks), you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@0123456789.studio. We will respond within 30 days. We do not charge fees for privacy requests.

07 — Protocol Privacy

How the RAT network handles user data.

This website (rat.cards) is separate from the RAT Protocol network and any applications built on it. The network is designed so that users prove only what is necessary for a given action, without exposing their full identity or wallet history.

Reactive: Credentials issued by the network are temporary. They are tied to a single action and expire after use. The network does not build a permanent profile of user activity.

Anonymous: The network is designed so that applications receive a cryptographic proof of eligibility — not the user's wallet address, balance, or history. The goal is minimal exposure by design.

As the protocol matures, detailed technical privacy documentation will be published. The current phase is infrastructure and token. Protocol architecture docs are in development.

08 — Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy.

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We will not retroactively reduce your rights without explicit notice.

We recommend checking this page periodically. We do not send policy update emails since we do not maintain a mailing list.
